Sangareddy: Finance Minister T Harish Rao on Monday expressed displeasure at the officials for not addressing the issues of people. As part of Pattana Pragati program in the Sangareddy district, the minister pulled up the officials for failing to provide basic amenities. He called upon people to see that Pattana Pragati program became a success.

"Your involvement is key to green, sanitation and development as part of Pattana Pragati program," he said. The minister interacted with local people on their problems and difficulties. They came up with a number of complaints on power supply, live wires, poor sanitation, denial of ration items and others. On this, the minister reprimanded the officials concerned for lethargy and dereliction of duties. He also warned them of serious action if they failed to address the same. He directed the RDO to ensure gas cylinders to all eligible families.

Rao instructed the power supply officials to see that related issues are addressed immediately. He also asked the MRO to see that ration dealers put up a board and give ration for 10 days at least. He also asked the women to avoid dumping plastic carry bags into the nalas. He asked them to separate dry and wet garbage and give to those who come from civic bodies, he said.
