Sanitation drive: Harish Rao asks people to keep streets clean as their houses

Telangana Finance Minister T Harish Rao called upon the people in towns to actively take part in cleanliness drive in the streets. The minister started second round of Pattana Pragathi in ward number six of Siddipet Municipality here on Monday.

The minister said that people should focus on cleanliness of the streets they live in in the same way they clean their houses. He interacted with people in colonies and enquired about the garbage segregation. He also asked people to ensure there is no water stagnation in their homes to avoid spread of seasonal diseases.

The minister also directed the municipal officials to take up fogging for mosquito problem.
