Sanitation inspected at Golconda, Shahi tombs

Golconda: GHMC commissioner Dana Kishore made extensive tour of the historical places around Golconda fort and Qutb Shahi tombs on Monday. He reviewed sanitation, maintenance of historical places, and ongoing development works at Katora House and Shatam Talab. He was accompanied by Khairatabad zonal commissioner Musharaf Ali and GHMC higher officials. During his visit to Banjara Darwaja, he instructed the officials to install meshes on nalas on both side of darwajas and prevent dumping of waste at the site. Later, the GHMC Commissioner inspected the ongoing works by GHMC and Tourism department at Katora House. He then visited Shatam Talab and instructed the officials to ensure that garbage which is piled around the fort be removed. He ordered the officials concerned to conduct sanitation works around the historical places as hundreds of foreign and local tourists visit the historical places every day.
