Hanamkonda: Sanskrit is the best language in the world
Hanamkonda (Warangal Urban): Sanskrit is one of the best languages the world has, retired professor of Kakatiya University (KU) S Laxmana Murthy said.
Speaking at a training session on Sanskrit organised by Samskrutha Bharati and Sanskrit Department of the Arts College here on Tuesday, he said that Sanskrit is one of the ancient languages and the best as well. "Sanskrit is the best structured and organised language with a strict set of syntax and grammar. Sanskrit could well be the best interlinking language for computers," he said. If learned Sanskrit proficiently, no other language in the world is difficult for the people to excel, he said.
Arts College principal Banna Ailaiah said Sanskrit is not only the classical language but also the liturgical language of Buddhism, Janism and Hinduism etc. "Get used to well versed with Sanskrit and it will give a vast knowledge," he told the students. Sanskrit head of the department Dr Rajender explained the importance of the language that makes people understand the puranas and itihasas. Lecturers Dr Jyothy, Rama Devi and Karunakar were among others present.
