Serilingampally: National SC Commission Member K Ramulu and National BC Commission Member T Achary on Tuesday inspected a disputed land in survey no.32 in Kondapur following a complaint by the 'victims,' who approached the SC panel.

Rajendranagar RDO Chandrakala, Madhapur DCP Venkateswar Rao, GHMC Serilingampally Deputy Commissioner Venkanna explained to the two members about the land dispute. The complaint was made by some people, who had been residing on the land, for being forcibly dispossessed of their properties by some private persons. They alleged that officials who were supposed to protect them had backed the private persons.

Both Ramulu and Achary directed officials to submit a report on the incident. While expressing ire, they questioned officials what they were doing when the houses were forcibly demolished, allegedly with the support of political leaders.

Members of the two Commissions assured the victims of rendering justice to them after conducting a comprehensive inquiry. Among those present during the inspection were BJP State Executive committee member Jnanendra Prasad, party leaders and activists.
