SC dismisses petition on inter student's suicide

The Apex court on Monday dismissed a petition filed on inter student's suicide filed by Kodal Rao, former director of the state council of higher education. The court which heard the case said that the state High Court had also done the same.

On June 19, the Telangana High Court dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) which sought action against the inter board as around 21 students ended their lives since the announcement of the results.

The inter results triggered a huge public outcry after several errors in the evaluation of answer sheets and processing of results came to light. Parents and leader of political parties protested demanding action against inter board.
