SCCL official exhorts engineers to help formulate industrial policies

Hyderabad: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Director ( Operations) S Chandrashekhar on Saturday exhorted the engineering associations to make constructive recommendations in the formulation of industrial policies to ensure rapid growth in the coming days.

Delivering the valedictory speech at the two-day national seminar on Mineral industry here, the official stressed the need for sharing of information regarding the maintenance of mineral industries, mining permissions, environmental clearances and the changes bringing in the mineral policies by the governments from time to time.

He wanted taking up mining activity on a mission mode to generate more employment.Chandrashekhar also discussed the issue of payment of minimum wages to the outsourcing employees, insurance for all machinery worth crores of rupees and bank loans taken for the mining activity.

The two-day seminar adopted a resolution for the introduction of single window system to grant permission for mining activity. Former SCCL Chairman and Managing Director KJ Amarnath was also present.
