Schedule for TSEAMCET-2019 counselling announced
Hyderabad: Department of Technical Education and The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) have released the schedule for the first phase of TSEAMCET-2019 counselling for admission into various engineering colleges.
Accordingly, the eligible and qualified candidates of TSEAMCET-2019 engineering stream can register online by filling basic information, payment of processing fee and slot booking for selection of helpline centre, date and time to attend for certificate verification from June 24 to July 1.
A TSCHE communique said that candidates who qualified in TSEAMCET-2019 and secured 45 per cent (for OC) and 40 per cent (for others) in group subjects of intermediate or its equivalent examination can apply online for admissions.
It said that the certificate verification for those who have already booked their slots will take place from June 27 to July 7.
Candidates who registered online for the counselling will have to exercise options after certificate verification from June 27 to July 4 and the options would be frozen on the same day (ie., July 4), it said.
The provisional allotment of seats will be done on July 6 and the schedule for payment of tuition fee and self-reporting through the website will be from July 6 to 12.
Candidates can make payment of processing fee by visiting website https:// tseamcet.nic.in, after registering themselves with the registration number is given on TSEAMCET-2019 hall ticket, date of birth as mentioned in the SSC marks memo and hall ticket number of intermediate or its equivalent.
All categories of candidates belonging to OC, BC, SC, ST and Minority will have to book slots giving their preferred helpline centre (HCL), date and time to attend certificate verification.
However, special category candidates like National Cadet Corps, Physically Challenged Children of Armed Forces Personnel, the Anglo-Indian need should book their slot selecting the HLP at Government Polytechnical, Masab Tank, Hyderabad, to attend for certificate verification.
The communique further said that the Tuition Fee particulars and college wise seats available under Convenor Quota will be made available on the website https:// tseamcet.nic.in well before the commencement of option entry.
The Fee reimbursement for eligible candidates is subject to the guidelines issued by the Government from time to time.
Details of the provisional allotment of seats will be made available on the website https://tseamcet.nic.in on June 6. Candidates can download the provisional allotment order by entering "the ROC Form Number, TSEAMCET Hall Ticket Number, Password and Date of Birth in Candidate login in https://tseamcet.nic.in," it said.
Further, "minority candidates (Muslim / Christian) who have not qualified or not appeared in TSEAMCET -2019 (MPC stream)
and who secured 45 per cent (for OC) and 40 per cent (for others) in group subjects of intermediate or its equivalent examination to consider them for the leftover seats in respective minority colleges, if any, after exhausting all the qualified Minority candidates of TSEAMCET-2019 (M.P.C Stream) in final the phase of counselling", the communique said. However, such candidates are not eligible for Fee Reimbursement Scheme.
