School bus rams into tree in Nizamabad

Several students were injured when the school bus they were travelling in rammed into a tree here at Dichpally mandal of Nizamabad district on Tuesday morning.

The bus was proceeding towards school when the mishap took place. A student suffered serious injuries when his legs were stuck in the engine. However, he was rescued by the locals who took out the boy using a gas cutter.

It is learned that around 25 students were travelling in the bus when the driver lost control over the speeding bus and rammed it into a tree. The injured students were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. More details are awaited.

The police took up an investigation and are collecting details.
