School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education annual exams begin in Warangal

Warangal: The annual exams of the degree and postgraduate (distance mode) have begun on a peaceful note here on Monday, School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education (SDLCE) of Kakatiya University (KU) Director Prof Guguloth Veeranna said. On the first day, final year students of BA, BCom (Computers/General), BSc, BBM etc, MA, MCom, MSc (Maths) and LLM attended the exams.

Controller of Examinations Prof S Mahender Reddy, along with SDLCE Director Prof G Veeranna, Additional Controller Dr Y Venkaiah, Joint Director Balbir Singh, Media in-charge Dr Sangala Ephraim Raj, inspected the examination centre located on the premises of SDLCE head office. In all, 28,698 degree students and 6,678 PG students were attending exams across the SDLCE centres in Telangana.

Meanwhile, the last date for applying for 'Eligibility Test' to get admission into degree courses offered by the SDLCE has been extended to July 30. In view of the demand from the students, the SDLCE has extended the last date, Prof Veeranna said.
