SCR to run 29 special trains to cater rush during summer
To cater rush during summer holidays, the South Central Railway (SCR) will run 29 special trains between Secunderabad and Kakinada and Bhubaneswar and Secunderabad in April, May and June.
The special train will depart from Secunderabad at 9.40 pm on April 10 and arrive in Kakinada at 8 am the next day. This special train will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot.
The Secunderabad-Kakinada-Secunderabad Jansadharan summer special train will depart at 6.20 pm on April 9 and 10 and arrive Kakinada Town at 05:30 am the next day. The Kakinada Town-Secunderabad Jansadharan special train will depart on April 11, 12 and arrive at Secunderabad at 4.45 am the next day. The trains will halt at Aler, Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Dornakal, Khammam, Rayanapadu, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot in both directions.
Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad AC weekly summer special train will depart at 9.30 pm on April 12, 19 and 26; May 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and June 7, 14, 21, 28 and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 5.15 pm the next day.
