Section 144 in effect till May 20

Khammam: In a statement released here on Monday by the Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal, he said Section 144 would be in effect till May 20. The CP appealed to the people to not to organise any public meetings, rallies etc., as it was prohibited to gather in groups when the Section 144 is in effect. "To avoid any untoward incidents in the limits of Khammam police commissionerate jurisdiction, we have decided to continue Section 144 until May 20, as previously announced," the CP said in the statement.
