Secunderabad: ABVP protests as fee reimbursement delayed

Secunderabad: 'Akhila Bharata Vidhyarthi Parishad' (ABVP) burned CM KCR effigy while hanging it here at Secunderabad PG College on Thursday. They conducted protest on education policies introduced by CM KCR.

Speaking on the occasions, ABVP state joint secretary Jeevan demanded for the immediate release of pending fees reimbursement and scholarships. He also demanded to appoint Vice-Chancellor and pending posts in the University.

"KCR is not making justice for the children in the field of education. He is indirectly provoking children to go for works," he said. He reminded that a total of Rs 4000 crore fees reimbursement is pending in which Rs 1600 crores are of last year. "If this process is continued, fees reimbursement will be cancelled in future," he added.

City secretaries Harsha, Mahendar, Sirisha, Pranay, Siva, Dileep, Mahendar, Ajay, Srikanth, Ramesh, Lingam, Gandhi, Harsha, Arun, Dhruvana, Deekshit, Mahesh, rakesh, Siva Kumar, Sai, Bhaskar, Subhash, Aryan, Vinay and others were present.
