Secunderabad: Bharat Dynamics Limited pays interim dividend to government

Secunderabad: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a city-based defence public sector undertaking, has declared an interim dividend of Rs 6.25 per share of Rs 10/- each for the financial year 2019 – 20. The interim dividend declared by the Company works out to 62.5% of the paid-up share capital of Rs 183.28 crore.

Commodore Siddharth Mishra (Retd), the chairman and managing director of BDL, presented a cheque for Rs 100.518 crore, being the interim dividend pertaining to the Government of India shareholding in BDL, to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Thursday.

Raj Kumar, Secretary (Defence Production), & Dr Amit Sahai, Joint Secretary (P&C) from Ministry of Defence and Shri S. Piramanayagam, Director (Finance), BDL were present on the occasion.
