Secunderabad: Colony welfare bodies green drive

Secunderabad: To release funds for the MMTS Phase II completion, the Federation of New Bolarum Colonies Welfare Association (FNBCW) and United Federation of Resident Welfare Association (U-FERWAS) planted saplings as a 'Green Challenge' at Malkajgiri and Bolarum Railway Stations.

"State Government should release Rs 150 crore as soon as possible for completion of MMTS phase 2. It is a long pending issue and public are suffering due to non-availability of proper public transport. With the completion of the project it would give a great relief to the locals," said Simhadri, a resident of Bolarum.

"We request the state government to release the fund as soon as possible for the completion of 84 km of MMTS Phase -II," said BT Srinivasan, secretary of U-FERWAS.
