Secunderabad: Jaipur legs donated to amputees

Secunderabad: The Artificial Limb Camp hosted by Chetana Foundation (USA), Rotary Club of Hyderabad Central, Rotary Club of Khaman Rotary District 3150 and Our Sacred Space, Secunderabad, donated Jaipur legs for amputees who had given their measurements a month ago. 10 sewing machines and 10 wheelchairs were also donated to those in need at Chaurah Auditorium, Our Sacred Space.

AP Rajan's address to the gathering was both empowering and insightful. He appreciated the efforts of all those gathered and encouraged citizens initiatives.

Rotarians and technicians personally fixed each leg, making sure that they fitted right. When required, they made suitable adjustments. They instructed the recipients on the care of the limb. The guests of honour were A P Rajan, Director General of Police (Retd), Venigalla Ravi and Venigalla Renuka from Chetana Foundation, Naraparaju Ram Chander Rao (MLC), Vuppala Srinivas Gupta, president of IVF, Telangana.
