Secunderabad LS development office inaugurated
Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy said people of Hyderabad are facing several problems.
He addressed the media here on Sunday after inaugurating the Secunderabad Parliamentary Constituency Development Office (SPCDO) at Old MLA Quarters along with BJP State unit president Dr K Laxman and MLC N Ramachander Rao.
Kishan Reddy said that people of Hyderabad are facing several problems like drinking water, MMTS, Metro, housing and the like. However, the government is not addressing them. The SPCDO will help people in solving their problems. Even small rains in the city are causing hardships to the people in Hyderabad.
The Centre had sanctioned two lakh housing units to Telangana. However, the poor in the State have not got them. The housing for the poor did not take off in Telangana due to the non-cooperation of the State government, he added.
Kishan Reddy said that the credit of reducing the 10 per cent of corporate tax goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the entire world is looking at the Modi's governance.
The government is going to conduct 'Runa Melas' soon across the country, he added.
Laxman asked all sections of people to extend their cooperation in the development of the region and utilise the services of the SPCDO. He wished that the SPCDO will become a role model for others.
