Secunderabad: Observe traffic rules, check accidents: ACP Rangayya

Secunderabad: North Zone Traffic ACP Rangayya on Tuesday advised students and youth people to observe traffic rules so as to check and prevent accidents.

Addressing an awareness programme for the benefit of students of Mahbub College as part of the Traffic Safety Week, the ACP impressed upon people while driving to possess licence, use seat belts, and follow compulsorily other traffic safety guidelines. He cautioned road-users against over-speeding in view of the threat of loss of lives.

Rangayya, with the help of audio/video display, made the students aware of the traffic scenario in foreign countries. He pointed out that there was a fall in accidents in the recent past following people observing traffic regulations, while calling for holding of such awareness programmes in educational institutions for auto and RTC drivers.
