Senior Citizen Forum donates to Odisha victims in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: Senior citizen Forum of Nizamabad has donated Rs 36,000 to Chief Minister Relief Fund Odisha as financial assistance to the storm victims of that State.

Senior citizens Bhumanna, Gangadhar, Narayana, Raji Reddy and Shankar handed over a cheque in this regard to District Collector MRM Rao here on Thursday.

Appreciating the senior citizens for their benevolence and their felling of social responsibility, the Collector said they are doing their best to serve the society.

He mentioned various services done by the district Senior citizen Forum like distributing 'pulihora' (tamarind rice) to the people be coming to the Grievance Day on Mondays.
