BJP leader Gajjala Yoganand says book KCr for treason

Serilingampally: Serilingampally constituency BJP in-charge Gajjala Yoganand asserted here on Thursday that the State Assembly resolution against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Population Register (NPR) was 'unconstitutional.' Hence, in a representation submitted to local MRO Vamsi Mohan, he wanted a treason case registered against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for violating laws passed by Parliament.

Speaking later, Yoganand recalled Home Minister Amit Shah's statement that implementation of CAA would not affect any section of population. He criticised KCR for the passage of the resolution, claiming that TRS party had become subservient to MIM in invalidating the Central laws.

The BJP leader claimed that the resolution adopted by GHMC corporators against CAA was being criticised by local residents, contending that they would teach a lesson to TRS leaders soon.

Among those who accompanied Yoganand were party leaders Kasireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Jnanendra Prasad, Narra Jayalakshmi, Maram Venkat, Rakesh Bhute, Narender Goud, Anjaneyulu, Srivani, Lakshmi, Prashanthi, Reddy Prasad, Chandu Yadav, Suresh, Pavan, district leaders Kumar Yadav, Mahipal Reddy, Govardhan Goud, division president Jayaramulu, Manik Rao, Sridhar, Rajushetty, BJYM leaders Chandramohan and Jeethender.
