Serilingampally: BJP women's wing celebrates International Women's Day
Serilingampally: Spiritual leader Satyavani on Monday attended a programme to celebrate the International Women's Day by the BJP women's wing in Dharmapuri Kshetram at Diptisrinagar. Addressing the gathering, she stated that women enjoyed high status and respect in India among the world nations. She remarked that in several areas of the country there were celebrations to mark women's success in the fields of finance, politics and social sectors.
State BJP leaders Jnanendra Prasad, Yoganand and Butchi Reddy were among those who attended the programme. They stated that women should be respected as mother, wife and sister, while advising women to strive for achieving excellence along with men in education, employment, finance, political fields. Those present at the event included BJP women's wing leaders Parvati, Swati, Vinaya, Mary, Lakshmi Sai, Srivani, Ranganayakamma, Nisha, Llalita Devi, Prashanti, activists from all divisions.
