Set high goals, strive to meet them: MLA Bethi Subash Reddy

Uppal: Bethi Subash Reddy, the Uppal MLA, advised students to set high goals and strive to reach them in order to be successful in life.

He was speaking at 'Sankalp 2K 2019', anniversary celebrations of TS Grammar High School, Vivek Nagar of Ramanthapur division on Thursday.

Addressing the students, the MLA exhorted the students to be disciplined in life, define their goals and work hard to achieve them.

Supporting the hard stance taken by teachers in the learning process, he advised students not to complain against teachers as they do it for their well-being.

He praised the school correspondent K Ram Reddy for providing quality education at low cost. Remembering Ram Reddy's role in Telangana agitation, the MLA said that he changed the school name from AP Grammar school to TS Grammar school.

He hoped that school would continue to serve the society and opens new branches.

Director of New Era Educational Institutes S Shravan Kumar advised the students to keep away from gadgets and social media sites and focus on their academics to reach higher positions.

Later, cultural programmes were performed by the students of the school. It was followed by presentation of mementos to meritorious students.

Noted singer PVMS Rohith, retired officer Pratap Reddy, school correspondent Ram Reddy, students, parents and others participated in the program.
