Set up BPOs in tier-II cities: Vinod to NRIs

Hyderabad: Telangana State Planning Board Vice Chairman B Vinod Kumar called upon the NRIs to set up BPO companies in tier II cities in Telangana for providing employment opportunities to the rural masses.

Vinod Kumar participated in NRI conference held at New Jersey in USA. He said that the State government was also taking steps to provide employment opportunities to the youth from the rural areas.

The aim of the government is to provide employment opportunities to the youth by setting up BPO companies. With the BPOs the youth would get training in various skills and later it would help them to get better opportunities in future.

Vinod said that under the first phase, the IT and ITES services would be extended in tier-II cities like Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar and later in other districts.
