Seven held for bio finished goods theft in Uppal

Hyderabad: The sleuths of CCS, Malkajgiri and Uppal police stations on Monday nabbed seven persons, who were involved in a house burglary case and recovered bio finished goods worth Rs 25 lakh from their possession.

The accused persons were identified as M Chandrashekar Reddy (60), S Murali Krishna (30), Shaik Shashavali (33), U Bade Saheb (21), V Ramanjaneyulu (20), V Sai (19) and G Bhasker (20). According to police, a complaint was lodged by one N Venkata Narayana (42), running a agro products business at IDA Uppal.

He stated that tins of finished bio products were stored in a godown. On November 3, he locked the godown. On November 5 he noticed that some unknown offenders had broken open the shutter lock and committed theft of manufactured bio finished products, worth of Rs 25 lakh.

On receipt of the complaint police registered a case under 457 and 380 IPC and took up investigation. Police connecting dots on credible information nabbed the accused persons in Chiluka Nagar area and recovered total 3,770 kg bio finished products worth Rs 25 lakh and seized two trolley autos.
