She Teams initiative a big success in Warangal

Hanamkonda (Warangal-U): The aim of the She Teams is to curb eve-teasing in all forms, providing safety and security to women, and facilitating conducive atmosphere for women mobility thereby building up confidence among them, the She Teams Warangal Inspector B Srinivas said.

Speaking at an awareness programme on She Teams organised by the Public Gardens Walkers Association (PGWA) here on Saturday, he told the girl students and working women to call or send a WhatsApp message to 94910 89257 if they face problems from the eve teasers.

He said that the identity of those who lodge a complaint would be kept secret. Stating that the initiative of She Teams was a huge success, Srinivas said that police are conducting counselling sessions to those caught in eve teasing cases, along with their parents. The PGWA members Srinivas, Girija, Ananth, Shobha, senior journalist P V Madan Mohan and Nimmala Srinivas were among others present.
