Show cause notices to Keshampet, Kondurgu Tahsildars

Delay in pending mutation cases landed two tahsildars in trouble. They were issued show-cause notices by the Revenue Divisional Officer and were asked to give an explanation in 24 hours.

Around 216 mutation cases are pending in Keshampet while 134 in Kodurgu. The Keshampet Tahsildar B Anjaneyulu and Kondurgu Tahsildar M Krishna Reddy were issued notices due to the negligence of duty.

Collector Dr Harish had directed the officials earlier to solve the mutation cases in 15 days. However, they neglected their duties and failed to solve the cases following which they were issued notices.
