SI recruitment: 11,874 candidates to appear for written test

Warangal: The Police Commissionerate has made all arrangements for the smooth conduct of written examination on Saturday and Sunday (April 20 and 21) for the Telangana State Police Recruitment Board's recruitment of sub-inspectors of police in civil. The candidates who have qualified in the recent physical fitness tests are qualified to appear in the test.

Commissioner of Police V Ravinder said that as many as 11,874 candidates appear in the written examination to be held in 19 centres across Warangal district. The timings of exam: 10 am to 1 pm, and 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm on both days. The CP said that they have set up helpdesks to guide the candidates coming from other places.

The Commissionerate deployed 19 chief superintendents, 26 observers, 56 biometric invigilators, seven police inspectors, 14 sub-inspectors and 90 ASIs for the smooth conduct of the test.

Regional Coordinator P Malla Reddy said the students will not be allowed into the examination even if they come one minute late.

He warned the candidates not to resort to any kind of malpractice such as copying, impersonation etc. Electronic gadgets are strictly not allowed inside the hall. Since the candidates would be allowed inside the hall from 9 am, they must try to reach the exam centre at least one hour before. Along with the hall ticket, the candidates must carry a black or blue ink ballpoint pen and recent passport size photo, he said.
