Siddipet: Nanganur records 3 cm rain

Siddipet: Rain occurred at isolated places over Telangana during the last 24 hours, ending at 8.30 am on Thursday, with Nanganur, in Siddipet district, recording 3 cm of rainfall. There was 1 cm rain each in Gajwel, Kondapak and Jagadevpur areas of the district, according to the Met department bulletin. It said the rain was caused by the trough/wind discontinuity from north Marathawada to South Tamil Nadu across interior Karnataka, which now runs from east Vidarbha to south TN across Telangana and south interior Karnataka.

The bulletin listed the highest maximum temperature of 35.6 degress Celsius (point four deg C less than the previous day) was recorded at Bhadrachalam and Mahabubnagar, while the lowest minimum temperature of 16.3 deg C was registered in Medak( 1.5 deg less than that recorded on Wednesday)

The other day temperatures recorded in the State were: Adilabad (35.3), Nizamabad (34.6), Khammam (34.4), Ramagundam (34.2), Hyderabad (33.3), Nalgonda (32.4), Hanamkonda (32), Hakimpet (31.8), Medak (31.6) and Dundigal (31.3).

The other night temperatures were: Mahbubnagar (25), Nizamabad (24.1), Ramagundam (23.8), Bhadrachalam (23.5), Khammam (23.4), Hyderabad (21.9), Adilabad (21.6), Hanamkonda (21.5), Dundigal (21.2), Hakimpet (20.8) and Nalgonda (17.8),

Meanwhile, the forecast said dry weather was very likely to prevail over Telangana from March 13 to 16. No large change during the period March 17-19 is the weather outlook.
