Simian troop attacks school teacher in Nagarkurnool

Nagarkurnool: A Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) of Mannanur Tribal Welfare School was attacked by a troop of monkeys and was severely injured on Monday in Mannanur village of Ambrabad mandal in Nagarkurnool district.

According to sources, the teacher, Kurmaiah, from the tribal welfare hostel was on his way for shopping in the Mannanur village.

However, a troop of monkeys attacked him and snatched his belongings.

Not stopping there, the simians attacked him causing grave injuries to his arms and legs.

The locals, later, rescued the teacher and shooed away the monkeys. The injured teacher was immediately shifted to Achampet government hospital for treatment.
