Singareni Seva Samithi to train unemployed youth : Director S Chandra Sekhar
Kothagudem: More programmes would be conducted under the aegis of Singareni Seva Samithi, said Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Director S Chandra Sekhar.
On Tuesday, he conducted a meeting with the Seva Samithi convenors of all areas and communication department at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad.
Speaking at the programme, he said Singareni Seva Samithi has conducted many programmes in all areas where the families of Singareni employees and people residing in nearby areas were benefitted. Similarly, he said, this year the Samithi would conduct more programmes for the unemployed youth.
"The aim of the SCCL is to conduct more service-oriented programmes for the people.
Especially, the company is conducting vocational courses for women which have been very useful to them helping them to become financially independent," he said.
On the day, he launched the web application of Samithi and explained its working mechanism.
General Manger Anthony Raju, speaking at the programme, said every officer should cooperate with the trainers. Public Relation Officer Budagam Mahesh explained the details of programmes to be conducted this year.
He said an army training programme would be conduct this year for 450 unemployed. Senor Communication Officer Ganashanker, DGM personal D Salmon and others attended the programme.
