SIT intensifies probe in Disha gang rape and murder case

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed by the Cyberabad Police to intensify the investigation in Disha kidnap, gang rape and murder case.

The team consisting of four additional SP level officers investigate the case under the leadership of Shamshabad DCP N Prakash Reddy. As the Shadnagar court granted seven-day custody of four suspects in Disha case, the team has geared up to interrogate them. The team consists of 12 members including 3 Additional DCP's, 3 CI's, 2 SI's.

The evidences and FSL reports have to be collected in a speedy manner and compile all the reports to file charge sheet in the court. As the fast track court in Mahbubnagar is going to trial the case, the officials are moving ahead to submit their charge sheet before the custody period.

On the other hand, the team intensified their investigation by clubbing the Disha's missing case filed in Shamshabad RGIA police station and the charred dead body found case filed in Shadnagar police station limits and are maintaining secrecy in the ongoing interrogation and measures are taken not to leak any information.
