Six women grab liquor license in Kamareddy

Kamareddy: District Collector Satyanarayana announced the winners to run liquor shops through lucky draw at Renuka Devi Kalyana Mandapam in Kamareddy on Friday.

As long as the lucky draw was carried out by the hands of collector Satyanarayana, the enthusiasts waited eagerly for the results. Excise officials have provided all facilities.

About 40 liquor stores will be set up in the district. 475 applications were received to get them.

Of the 475 applicants, 425 men and 50 women wanted liquor stores. However, in the lucky draw, there were only six women who owned liquor stores. 34 men found alcohol.
