Social activist, choreographers receive Seva Ratna Awards

Musheerabad: Seva Ratna Awards presentation ceremony was held here at Thyagaraya Gana Sabha on the occasion of second anniversary of Ujwala cultural and social voluntary organisation, on Monday.

The chief guest of the event former governor of Tamil Nadu, Dr Konijeti Rosaiah presented Seva Ratna awards to noted social activist CH Shankar, Amberpet corporator Puli Jagan, choreographers Vicky master and K Radhika and felicitated them.

Speaking on the occasion, Rosaiah said that the awards give better recognition to person in the society and it is a good tradition to felicitate prominent persons who are serving the society.

He urged the recipients to continue their services for the well-being of society.

The presentation ceremony was presided by Kala Janardhan Murthy.

Justice Boorgula Madhusudhan, president of Ujwala Lakshmi and others attended the presentation.
