Solve issues pertaining to RTC: TMU to government
Karimnagar: Telangana Mazdoor Union (TMU) district secretary MP Reddy demanded that the government must solve all the issues pertaining to Road Transport Corporation (RTC). As part of the call given by the State committee, the TMU members staged a dharna in front of Karimnagar bus depot I and II on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Reddy alleged that the government is negligent in solving the various issues pertaining to the RTC such as rectification of salaries of RTC employees, providing medical services, purchasing new buses and making new appointments along with merging the RTC into the government.
He demanded that all these issues should be solved as early as possible. Otherwise, as per the instructions of the State committee, they will intensify the agitation, he warned.
TMU members M Ramesh, G Manohar, N Srinivas, AVR Reddy, Mallesham, JP Kumar, MR Reddy, Kanakaiah, Radhika, Sunitha, P Thara, Sheshu, JS Rao, Uma Devi, TS Kumari, Kamalakar, Ramulu, Jagan and Ramana were present along with others.
