Solve people's grievances at once: Nirmal Collector M Prashanthi
Nirmal: District Collector M Prashanthi told the district administration to clear all petitions received during Grievance Cell programme immediately, while addressing a special Grievance Cell programme at MPDO office in Bhainsa in Nirmal district on Monday.
During the programme, Sangitha from 14th ward, Bhainsa town, requested the Collector to solve drinking water problem in their ward. Lakshmi of Wanalpad of Bhainsa mandal urged the Collector to issue pattadar passbook and provide Rythu Bandhu to her. Savitri Bai of Kubeer mandal requested to sanction old age pension to her and Prasad of Elaygaov of Bhainsa mandal requested the authorities to change his name on his pattadar passbook and Raju of Bhainsa complained that physically handicapped certificates were not issued to them at Sadaran camp so far.
Immediately responding to the complaints, Collector Prashanthi ordered the officials concerned to issue disability certificates immediately.
Speaking on the occasion, Prashanthi told that most people have submitted their representations on land related issues and ordered tahsildars and revenue staff to clear all land related problems as soon as possible without delay. The officials were suggested to bring the problems to her notice at district-level if they cannot solve them at mandal-level. She also told the officials of other departments to clear all grievances at a fast pace.
The officials were told to review 30-day special action plan works, to protect saplings planted under Haritha Haram programme to develop green cover and told the revenue officials to identify government land in their respective mandals for the construction of mass toilets in each village.
