SP extends aid to kin of deceased cop

Kothagudem: Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt has distributed a cheque for Rs 50,000 to the family members of a deceased policeman, Nageswara Rao, here in his chamber on Thursday.

Nageswara Rao was killed in a road accident at Aswapuram recently. Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that the amount was given under the scheme of the welfare department. He added everyone should take care of themselves and take all precautions for avoiding road accidents. Administrative Officer Venkateswarlu, Police Officer Association president Srinivas Rao, superintendent Nageswara Rao and junior assistant Abbas and other staff were present.
