SP thanks all for smooth conduct of Ganesh immersion in Adilabad

Adilabad: Superintendent of Police Vishnu S Warrier thanked police officials, who worked round the clock during the 11-day Ganesh festival. He said that he was happy that the people are celebrating the festival in a peaceful manner, while speaking at a meeting of Hindu Utsava Samithi before the immersion, at Saraswathi Shishu Mandir at Vinayak chowk in Adilabad on Thursday.

The SP said that he believes the Bhagwad Gita Shloka 'lokah samastha sukhino bhavanthu' (everyone should be fine) and 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' (the world is one family. The department made tight security arrangements to prevent untoward incidents during the immersion and procession and provided bandobast for each and every Ganesh pandal.

Chief guest Narayana Maharaj explained about Vinayaka Navaratri festival and greatness of Hinduism and asked everyone to pray for the prosperity of all. Zilla Parishad Chief Rathod Janardhan, Adilabad MLA Jogu Ramanna, Hindu Utsava Samithi president Jangili Ashanna and others were present.
