Speaker Pocharam offers prayers at Medaram

Nizamabad: State Legislative Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy and Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy along with their families visited Medaram and offered prayers to the Goddess Sammakka and Saralamma on Saturday.

They visited the altar and had a darshan of the presiding deities. The Speaker also visited the adjacent Govindaraju and Pagididaraju.

As per the tradition, they presented the bangaram (jaggery) to the goddess. Endowments Minister Indrakaran Reddy and Minister of Tribal, Woman and Child Welfare Sathyavathi Rathod also offered prayers on the occasion.

Ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Indrakaran Reddy and other public figures and officials were present on the occasion.
