Speaker Pocharam terms CM KCR 'divine servant'
Jagtial: Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, on Tuesday, credited Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao of rebuilding the Yadadri temple and said CM KCR is a divine servant.
The Speaker visited the Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy temple in the district. MLA Sunke Ravi Shankar and the temple priests welcomed the Speaker and State Planning Commission vice president Boinapally Vinod Kumar upon their arrival at the temple. The Speaker performed special poojas and received Vedic blessings and prasadam from the priests.
Later, speaking to the media persons, Srinivas Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao should be credited for rebuilding the Yadadri temple at a cost of Rs 1,213 crore, along with the carvings and stone construction in the same manner as the kings built it in the past.
The Speaker also thanked KCR for giving Rs 100 crore funds for the development of Kondagattu temple recently. The State government is committed for the development of temples. The Chief Minister was moving ahead with the blessings of Anjaneya Swamy to provide good governance in the State as well as in the country.
Srinivas Reddy said that with god's grace, KCR has been able to initiate change in the country too. Kondagattu temple has a special place in the State and Anjaneya Swamy was a deity who fulfills the wishes of the devotees, he added.
Minority SC Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar, State Planning Commission vice chairman B Vinod Kumar, MLA Dr. Sanjay Kumar, and ZP chairperson Dava Vasantha district collector G Ravi were present.
