SR College celebrates Graduation Day
Warangal: Joy was writ large on the faces of the SR College of Engineering students on occasion of Graduation Day celebrations at its Anantasagar campus on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, principal V Mahesh listed out various achievements of the college during the academic year 2018-19.
"The autonomous college has secured NAAC A grade due to relentless efforts of the management, faculty and students. This apart, all UG programmes of the college were accredited by NBA Tier," he said.
Chief Guest Shanthikumar Chilumula, Director, Workforce Planning and Management at EPAM Systems, stressed on the importance of education and how one could serve society. "I want you all to practice three skills in life - patience, smartness and communication," he said.
Guest of honour, Prof K V Jayakumar of National Institute of Technology advised the students to be global citizens contributing their technical knowledge for the betterment of society and to be visionary and committed to the task they endeavor upon, maintain the ethics in their future life and career.
College chairman A Varada Reddy said they believe in quality education and has steered S R Engineering College to be one of the prestigious institutions in the field of technical education. The programme was coordinated by R Archana Reddy, Dean-Academics, A Harshavardhan, G Sunil Reddy.
The students on the occasion shared their experiences on the campus with audience. A total of 351 engineering and management students participated in the graduation ceremony. Ravula Shireesha (CSE) was declared as the best outstanding student.
