State government gives importance to education: Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar
Khammam: State Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar on Monday said the State government is giving utmost importance to education. He was participating in a programme organised at Shanthi Nagar Government High School in Khammam.
Addressing on occasion, he informed that the Telagana is the only State in the country which is providing KG to PG free education. He said Chief Minister KChandrashekar has a good vision and he developed the State in all aspects. As part of the Bangaru Telangana, the Chief Minister is spending more funds for development of the education, Minister Ajay Kumar added.
He asked the students to utilise the facilities to excel in their studies and earn good name for the school and parents. Later, The Minister distributed note books to the students.
Corporator Murali informed that the notebooks were presented to the Minister from people when he sworn in. On that time the Minister asked the people who had come to greet him no to give him bouquets and shawls but notebooks which could be useful for the students.
At that time a lot of notebooks were received, the same notebooks were distributed to the students in the programme held on Monday, he said.
Corporator Ch Narayana Rao, Shanti Nagar Government School Head Master Krishna Kumari, Mandal Education Officer Srinivas Rao, teacher Sailajalaxmi, and public representatives and others attended the programme.
