Stolen ATM found in bushes

Patancheru: The Indicash ATM machine in Rudraram village which was taken away by offenders on Sunday was found abandoned four km away in bushes on the outskirts of Cheryal village in Sangareddy mandal, according to local CI Naresh. He said on Monday that no money was taken from the ATM and that the mini-goods carrier vehicle was also found near the bushes.

The CI stated that this clearly indicated that the persons involved had committed the offence after a well-planned strategy and had lifted the vehicle to take away the ATM. He said the CCTV footage near the ATM indicated that six persons were involved in the incident. The police, according to CI, have launched intensive efforts to nab them. They would be caught soon, Naresh added.
