Stone laid for MSME Green Industrial Park in Dandumalkapur
Choutuppal (Yadadri-Bhongir): Industries Minister KT Rama Rao stated that the main motto behind the establishment of Green Industrial Park was to provide job opportunities to the youth of Telangana.
With 450 industrial units, attracting investments of Rs 1,553 crore, the park is expected to provide direct employment to 19,000 people and indirect employment to 30,000 people.
On Friday, along with Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation chairman Balamallu, Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy and industrialists, laid the foundation stone for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Green Industrial Park in Dandumalkapur of Yadadri-Bhongir district.
Addressing the gathering and the industrialists at a meeting held on the occasion, KTR said the TS-iPASS has become a role model industrial policy for the rest of the country.
"Those who mocked Telangana people are following the policies being implemented in Telangana and the visionary steps of the State government in the last six years had put Telangana top in the country," he said.
Stating that permissions to the industries have been giving through single window system, he said according to the system, if officials concerned failed to give permission to any industry within 15 days of the application submission, then the industry will be treated as deemed approval on 16th day and the errant officials would be fined Rs 1,000 per day.
So far, 12 lakh people got employment under TS– iPASS, he informed. "The State government has been supporting MSME industries in all aspects and giving subsidies, and these industries are going to provide 70 per cent employment in the forthcoming days," he noted.
Stating that the industrial park was designed under environment-friendly concept and indicates that the government would invite pollution-free industries in the park, the Industries Minister assured to expand the park with all amenities to 2,000 acres from existing the 435 acres in coming up days and added that a skill development centre would also be established in 10 acres in the park to train local youth for industrial needs.
Informing that women, SCs, STs and disabled will have special quota in jobs in the industrial park, he assured to upgrade the present 33/11 kv substation to 132 kv substation to cater to the needs of the park.
