Stone laid for vegetable,meat markets in Kodangal: MLA Patnam Narender
Kodangal: Kodangal MLA Patnam Narender Reddy laid the foundation stone for the construction of vegetable and meat markets in the constituency headquarters on Thursday.
While taking part in the land breaking ceremony, Patnam Narender said, "during the past 70 years of the Congress and TDP rule in erstwhile Mahbubnagar, Kodangal constituency witnessed zero development, however soon after the formation of new State of Telangana, the State government has allocated huge funds for the development of roads, drains, market yards and vegetable and meat markets in the mandal.
Today, I am happy to announce that the State government has allocated Rs 1 crore for the construction of vegetable and meat markets under TUFIDC funds." Earlier, the traders from Kodangal asked the MLA to allocate land and also urged him to get funds from the government for the construction of a market yard in Kodangal.
As per their request, the MLA could succeed in getting Rs 1 crore for the construction of a vegetable and meat market in Kodangal. The MLA along with Mandal Parishad President Muddappa took part in the land breaking ceremony and offered prayers before digging the land for the construction of the market yard. The MLA said that he is ready to do all that was needed for the people of Kodangal constituency.
TRS leaders Madhusudhan Yadav, Siddi lingam, Godala Ramreddy, Murari, Municipal Commissioner Mohanlal, Executive Engineer Lachhi Ram, Kodangal Tahsildar Kiran Kumar and others took part in the programme.
