Nalgonda: Superintendent of Police AV Ranganath warned the agitating RTC workers and others of stringent action if they try to obstruct the duties of working staff and create hurdles in the way of those who wish to join their duties.

On Tuesday, the SP along with RTC officials and local police monitored the situation in Nalgonda and Miryalaguda bus stands with regard to the government's deadline.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP said following the government's order, several RTC workers were getting ready to join their duties. However, it came to our notice that a few persons were trying to stop them from resuming their duties, which is a crime as per the law.

He warned of taking stringent action against those who want to create problems to RTC workers and staff during the submission of joining reports to officials concerned at the respective depots in which they were working.

He assured to provide protection to staff who wish to join their duties.

He advised the staff to bring to the notice of respective police officials and sub-divisional police officials if anybody stalls or threatens them and stops from joining their duties.
