Student Police Cadet will be formed in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: Student Police Cadet is being set up to make students better citizens, said DCP (Law and Order) M Sridhar Reddy.

A meeting was held at the police conference office here on Tuesday with the principals of various schools. Addressing the gathering, Sridhar Reddy said 20 schools will be selected from Nizamabad, Armoor and Bodhan divisions and students studying eighth class will be selected.

A written test and 100 meters and 400 meters running competition for physical fitness will be conducted for the students. Long and high

jump competition also will be held and the winners will be selected for the Cadet.

ACP G Srinivas Kumar, CI Naresh Madhusudhan and others participated in the meeting.
