Student's death: Headmaster, 2 teachers suspended

Nizamabad: The District Education Officer on Saturday suspended the head master and two teachers of the school where a student was electrocuted on Friday. Student Ayan had died of the electric shock at Kotagalli Public School.

The DEO suspended the school headmaster Satish, incharge head master Ramadevi and school assistant Anita. RDO Venkateshwar is investigating the incident. The RDO spoke with the school students and completed the preliminary hearing and on his suggestion the DEO suspended the headmaster and two teachers.

Meanwhile, demanding justice for the family of the deceased student's family, the ABVP activists laid siege to the District Education office on Saturday. ABVP leader Naveen demanded ex-gratia for the deceased student's family. He said such incidents should not be repeated. Students who had earlier come to the DEO office in a rally they staged sit-in. Subsequently, the petition was submitted to the DEO.
