Students protest at Collectorate

Siddipet: Polytechnic students of Indur Engineering College, led by ABVP, staged a dharna in front of Collectorate here on Monday.

They took out a rally from college to Collectorate alleging detention of 180 students for less attendance.

The students claimed that they attended classes regularly.

They alleged that due to non-functioning of biometrics their attendance percentage has dropped down.

The students submitted a representation to Collector Krishna Bhasker.

They said the Collector assured to take measures in this regard.

A heavy police force was beefed up at the collectorate.
