Sukhender Reddy calls on KCR

Hyderabad: Gutha Sukhender Reddy, who was elected unanimously for Legislative Council called on Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and thanked him for the opportunity.

Gutha Sukhender Reddy along with Nalgonda district leaders met the Chief Minister at Pragathi Bhavan. Sukhender Reddy hugged Chandrashekar Rao and thanked him for the Council seat under MLA quota.

There are speculations that Sukhender Reddy may be inducted into Chandrashekar Rao's cabinet. The Congress and the BJP did not field any acndidates as they had no numbers.

It was expected that the Chief Minister would promote Sukhender Reddy as a Minister as he was the Chairman of Rythu Samanvaya Samithi.

The by poll to council was held because of disqualification of member K Yadava Reddy, who defected into the Congress from the TRS.

Nalgonda leaders including MP B Lingaiah Yadav, Minister G Jagadish Reddy, MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, MLAs G Kishore, G Sunitha, K Bhupal Reddy and others were also present.
