Summer effect setting in Medak

Medak: Medak recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius during the last 24 hours, ending at 8.30 am on Thursday, the Met department bulletin said. It was one degree less than that of the previous day.

The temperatures registered an appreciable rise by 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius in some parts of the State. They rose markedly ranging by 4.1 degrees or more in some parts and were appreciably above normal ranging from 3.1 to 5 degrees C.

The other night temperatures in the State were: Nalgonda (16.4), Hakimpet (17.3), Dundigal (17.8), Hanamkonda (19), Hyderabad (19.4), Khammam (19.4), Adilabad (20.2), Mahbubnagar (20.5), Ramagundam (20.5), Nizamabad (21) and Bhadrachalam (22.5). According to the bulletin, the day temperatures in degree Celsius recorded in Telangana were: Mahbubnagar (36.5), Adilabad (34.3), Bhadrachalam (34), Nizamabad (33.9), Ramagundam & Medak (33.6) each Khammam (33), Hyderabad (32.6), Hanamkonda (32), Nalgonda (31.6), Hakimpet & Dundigal (31.3) each and Nalgonda (31.6).
